Founded in 1991 by Lou Jobin, Jobin Realty is known for changing the commonly known traditional fee structure for agents to a unique 100 percent agent commission with a small flat monthly fee - and amount less than half of what most large nationally known agencies - or an 80/20 commission split.
The Jobin Realty business model allows agents more autonomy and control over business hours, as well as where businesses is conducted since branch offices are not considered as much of a focal point as most other real estate companies may practice.
